May 5, 2014: At ‘The World Superyachts Awards’ contest organised by Boat International Media, CRN – part of the Ferretti Group specialised in the production of custom-made steel and aluminum 40-to-90 mt megayachts  – has received for its flagship 80mt M/Y Chopi Chopi the ‘Judges Commendation’ award, which is reserved to the biggest deployable motoryachts with a weight of over 2.000 GT.

M/Y Chopi Chopi was handed the award during an event held in the suggestive surroundings of the National Maritime History Museum in Amsterdam, as a conclusion of a three-day exclusive convention dedicated to the superyacht industry and its main contributors.

In front of an audience made of the industry’s top players such as ship owners and prestigious shipyards representatives, CRN S.p.A’s Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer Lamberto Tacoliaccepted the award on the company’s behalf together with Team CRN members, architectural firm Zuccon International Project (who was in charge of designing both the interior and the exterior layout) and Laura Sessa, who was chosen to look after the flagship’s style concept and interior design.
