Sutor Mantellassi rinnova la boutique di Milano
Sutor Mantellassi, prestigious Italian luxury shoemaker with a centennial tradition, has recently renovated its boutique in Milan, via Montenapoleone 3. The new space extends on two levels. The strict symmetry of the building’s external architecture is broken by the light structure of the windows in brass and fabric. Inside, the elegant venue is dominated by a chandelier made of wooden shoe forms hanging in the shape of a cone.
Precious materials create a sophisticated ambience: floor perimeters in gres matt, floors in lucid graphite marble, carpets in wool and silk, black satin finished steel wardrobes with brass details. A new design to enhance and highlight the woman’s line which aims to became an important extension of the collection. On the second floor, a small museum exhibits the forms of the shoes worn by Marcello Mastroianni, Gabriele D’Annunzio, Oriana Fallaci, Ezra Pound, Henry Fonda, Giorgio Strehler.
