Berluti’s new Fall/Winter Collection combines savvy silhouettes with comfortable materials,  for a wardrobe in jersey with tailored spirit, but a sporty personality. Jersey, leitmotiv of the collection, is used for tailored jackets. Comfortable knitwear in place of layers, linens and strapless, original cuts unsure sharpened classic tailored silhouettes. Jackets match full-legged woolen skiing pants to create a mixing of formal and sportswear wardrobe. There are no shirts in the collection. All knits are made of knitted fabrics. The versatility of knitwear is enhanced by a great range of necklines: with collar, round-necked, V-neck and polo. Proportion are less formal. From bombers to parkas, all jackets shorten presenting squarer lines compared the previous collections: only trenches exceed knee-length. The hammer sleeves characterize most jackets, extending until the neckline and granting freedom of movements. All lapels are constructed with an innovative bending technique. Fabrics include an ultra-light and waterproof opaque talc treated leather; laminated kangaroo leather used for unlined jackets as well as feathers coats; unwaxed nabuk and laminated cashmere for coats. Suits and outwear fabrics include a Japanese technical tricotin, a special combination of cotton, wool and mohair; pure silk for the evening jackets. Different types of jersey have been weaved in four different cashmere classes from 300 to 700 gr. Sweaters are made of 12 colors cashmere yarns. This micro multi-color effect is also used for tweed, reproducing the 19^th century wools obtained from waste yarns. Here the mixed cashmere fabrics are carefully dyed in different colors.
