An unmissable  opportunity to admire some of the great masters of 19^th century Italian art in Milan. From Boldini to Segantini. The reflections of Impressionism in Italy exhibition, from March 27 to June 28 2015 at GAMManzoni, features 35 works by masters like Giovanni Segantini, Federico Zandomeneghi, Giovanni Fattori, Angelo Morbelli, Giuseppe De Nittis e Giovanni Boldini, for the first time exposed in Milan.

In occasion of the upcoming Expo 2015, GAMManzoni presents an event dedicated to 19^th century Italian painting of excellence, to underline the participation of the impressionist artists on show to universal Expositions like Vienna 1873, Philadelphia 1976, Paris 1878 1900, Antwerp 1885, St. Louis 1904 and Milan 1906.

The exhibition path presents authentic masterpieces like The letter by Federico Zandomeneghi, no more displayed in Italy for about a century, and property of an important American collection. A lot of room reserved to Macchiaioli Art with works like Via di Ravenna by Telemaco Signorini, for the first time in Milan. A real quality selection: among the great artworks there are Pompei Excavations by Filippo Palizzi, from Quadreria Edison of Milan; the Duomo Exit by Mosé Bianchi, which remained in France for almost a century and was brought back home by Enrico Piceni; and the second version of Portrait of actresses Emma Ivon by Tranquillo Cremona of Museo Malinverni.

The closure of the path is dedicated to the extraordinary Alpe of May by Giovanni Segantini.
